- Buddy harumphs and snorts when he is mad or frustrated.
- Buddy likes it when I order him onto my chair and I beat him with a slipper. He gets mad if I swat him too lightly.
- Buddy was abandoned by him mother, and we adopted him at 4 weeks. He has deeply bonded with me and is a mama’s boy through and through.

- If I throw right, Dottie can catch treats in mid-air. The problem is that I throw like a girl.
- Dottie squeaks instead of meows. When she has a hairball, it sounds like someone stepping on a squeaky toy repeatedly.
- Dottie hisses at my husband Richard when he wears a baseball cap.
- If I hold the hairbrush handle, Dottie will move it around with her paw and brush herself.
- Dot likes to watch tv, but only likes nature programs with animals. Sometimes she enjoys anime.
- Dottie will only sit on our laps if we are wearing jeans. It’s the only fabric she will tolerate.
- Dottie allows Buddy to be the boss most of the time, but about once a day she will pin him down and bite him hard on the cheek or tummy so he doesn’t get too domineering.
- If you offer Dottie some food ands she’s not particularly into it, she’ll pretends to nibble at it out of politeness. She will never outright refuse.
- Dottie toes are so long they’re practically fingers.
- Dot always looks like she’s asking a question.
